Day 10 Hunterville to Palmy

I kept the pace well off this morning after finishing quite shattered yesterday.
This seemed to work.  The day had a lot of climbing jn the first half, with more downhill at the end. Progress probably seemed slow, with just 50km clocked in the first four hours vs a total of 145km needed to get to Palmy.
We were riding on what seemed like the backroads to the backroads. I went for very long periods without seeing any cars
The field is now spread over a large distance with many of the people I've gotten to know now either in the Wairarapa or a day or further back.
It was a comfortable 17C today to ride in.
My plan us to either to get to Masterton or Martinborough tomorrow and Wgtn on Thursday or perhaps Friday.
